The Philippine EcosanNetwork (PEN) through its Sustainable Sanitation Knowledge Node (SSKN) Projectmanaged by the Center for Advanced Philippine Studies (CAPS) is invitinginterested parties and individuals to submit a research proposal on the Topic: State of Sanitation in Public ElementarySchools: An Exploratory Study. The Philippine EcosanNetwork (PEN) through its Sustainable Sanitation Knowledge Node (SSKN) Projectmanaged by the Center for Advanced Philippine Studies (CAPS) is invitinginterested parties and individuals to submit a research proposal on the Topic: State of Sanitation in Public ElementarySchools: An Exploratory Study. The specific objectivesare: 1. Identify andcollect government policies, laws and regulations, department orders andprograms pertaining to school sanitation. 2. Analyze interconnection, gaps and inconsistencies of thesegovernment policies, laws and regulations, department orders and programs toexplain this state of school sanitation. 3. Providerecommendations for future actions to address these gaps and inconsistencies. Timetable Engagement will start 31March 2010. The duration of the engagement is one-and-halfperson-months spread over five-months with the final reportsubmitted not later than 30 September 2010. Submission of Proposals Interested parties,individuals or organizations, are encouraged to submit Concept Study Proposalsof not more than 5 pages, single spaced font/size Arial 11 (excluding CV) viaemail to Mr. Arvi Miguel
